On Friday afternoon they stood outside the subway entrance with backpacks on enjoying the spring sun. Elizabeth faced Ethan and whispered, “Is it bad that I wish I could have you right here in the street?”
“Not bad at all,” Ethan said. He smiled and kissed her. She grabbed the sides of his face and pushed her lips harder against his. The sun was hot on the back of her neck.

Interesting six…I feel a sense of tension, as if something is about to happen, to change for the characters. Enjoyed it.
