Six Sunday: Stewart’s Story

Now that NaNoWriMo is finished, that story is getting set aside. Â Now I’m working on a short story that will be available soon as a free add-on to the sequel to my novel, (W)hole.
This is six sentences from Stewart’s Story.
Description:Â Stewart returns home to face his past and make up for his mistakes bu the soon discovers that everyone wants something from him. Everyone, that is, except the one man he most wants to make contact with: his father.

“I knew you couldn’t resist me,” she whispered and her breath was warm against his forehead, smelling of beer and raspberries. He closed his eyes and clutched the seat of his wheelchair for a moment to get control over himself. It isn’t real, he reminded himself.
