Reveal…

There’s a new book I’m working on and I’m very excited to share some of the details with you. It started as a short story idea, but quickly the characters took hold of me and insisted on a full novel to tell their story.

Be(Longing)

A talented paraplegic singer finds success when his able-bodied brother pretends to be him.

Dylan Sinclair wants a future in music, but he feels held back by his disability. In a moment of desperation he hatches a plan to have his brother, who can’t sing at all, impersonate him. Record executives are happy to go along with the charade and David’s career quickly takes off. Dylan must watch and keep quiet, never getting any acknowledgement for his work. When a beautiful reporter starts writing a biography of David, it becomes too much for Dylan and he determines to prove to her that he is the talent behind the famous voice of David Sinclair.

I have my cover artist working on a better cover, but I like to at least create some kind of mock-up to inspire me as I write, so that’s the image I have here and on the “coming soon” part of my site.
