Six Sunday: More Elizabeth

She climbed onto the narrow bed and stretched out, leaving space for him. Patrick lay down beside her and started kissing her. She did feel a little bit of tingling in her body when he kissed her. Nothing like what she had felt with Stewart, but a little bit. Hope surged in her.

She rubbed her hands over his arms and tried to imagine what was going to happen next.

 

This is a painfully slow way to tell a love scene! I write very short sentences.  Luckily, the full book itself is going to be available for purchase in a couple weeks.  This particular scene is likely not going where you’d expect 😉
