Celebrating
My book (W)hole was published in May of 2009. Â Exactly two years later, over 100 copies have been sold!
To be exact, 109 copies, including the Kindle version, have sold so far. Â Not exactly numbers that will allow me to quit my day job, but I think it’s pretty amazing. Â My hard work paid off. Â I’ve told many of you, but not all, that it took me ten years to write (W)hole. Â I had the idea when I was volunteering at the Information Center for Individuals with Disabilities in Massachusetts when I was 17 years old. Â It was a very different story back then. Â I worked it over and over and over and finally published it when I was 27.
I continue to work hard on a sequel for it. Â The outline is done and I’m getting through 1,000 words/day toward a first draft. Â I have many other stories in various states of progress and I look forward to publishing a book of short stories soon as well.
Thank you all for your support!
Those that have read the book, it would be great if you would be willing to leave a review at Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Â Any reactions to it, good or bad, can also be sent to my email RuthMadison82@yahoo.com
