Monday Book Review: A Life Worth Living

A Life Worth Living by Lorrie Kruse Review… Summary: Matt Huntz is a construction worker in a family business and engaged to a beautiful young woman when he has a car accident and wakes up in the hospital with damage to his spinal cord. The book follows as he works on getting function back, goes to rehab, tries to go home and deal with family and a crumbling romantic relationship. The whole time there is a question of exactly what happened the night of the accident, because Matt cannot remember. The Good: I really enjoyed this book. State of the Union

You may have noticed there wasn’t a book review this Monday. I’m reading a book now (A Life Worth Living) that was sent to me by the author after I requested her for an interview. I’m enjoying it a lot so far and I’m looking forward to reviewing it soon and then having the author here to tell you about it. Today is usually the day when I share a free short story or an excerpt from something that I’m working on. But every once in a while I have too much going on! Friday Story: The Happiness Pact

I wrote this story ages ago. Like, seriously, ages ago. When I was a teenager like the characters here. I don’t know if it holds up to my later writing. I think I have been improving! It does, however, have a couple of the very sweetest love stories I’ve ever written. My fondness for Alex knows no bounds. This is another story that I might have to work on expanding.
