Six Sunday: Breath(e) Two

Again this week I have six sentences from the new novel, Breath(e)… At the end of dinner, Elizabeth put her coat back on and prepared to go home. “Do I get a kiss?” Theo said. Elizabeth flushed. “Yes,” she said. She braced her arms against the back of his chair and leaned over him, pressing her lips against his. His lips were soft and his breath tasted like coffee and cinnamon. Find more six sentence excerpts from other writers at www.sixsunday.com  Thanks for stopping...

New Year

2011 was a year of massive change in my life. It’s been a wild ride and I think 2012 is going to get even better. It really came into focus that life doesn’t ever go the direction I expect or give me what I want in the way that I want it. I’ve learned that whatever goals I make need to be things directly in my own control. I can control how much I write, but not whether it will sell. Sunday Six: Breath(e) One

My newest novel has just been published! To celebrate, this month’s Six Sunday Sentences will be from Breath(e)…   On Friday afternoon they stood outside the subway entrance with backpacks on enjoying the spring sun. She grabbed the sides of his face and pushed her lips harder against his. The sun was hot on the back of her neck.   To read more six sentences from other participates, visit www.sixsunday.com!                ...

Each time Elizabeth needed something, it seemed Ethan was already prepared with whatever it was. She passed him dripping wet papers and he hung them on the drying line. He let her hand brush against his as she handed them to him and she felt an energy sizzling between them. Her lower body felt like it was slowly melting, a candle dripping from the flame of attraction. She could hardly mix the chemicals correctly because she didn’t want to take her eyes off him. All she could think about was wrapping her arms around his waist, pushing him against a wall and pressing her lips on...
