Oh, I'm sure that I will! I'm a little afraid of how upset that's going to make me.
Very interesting subject. I am very interested in anti-racism and women's rights, and the topic of ableism also comes up intertwined with these subjects. Are there any books, net articles, or other sources of information that you would recommend to someone new to the topic? Could I request a post in which you give some specific resources?
Sure, I can try to dig up some resources for you. It's been so many years since I started down the path of learning about ableism and disability issues, I'm not sure I can remember where I learned, but I can find some updated stuff!
Amba while visiting India you have to have a certain set of mind or you will not enjoy ur stay. You are visiting east for the first time and you definetly want to be enriched by the experience. plz remember tha India is a poor country , many Indians are still uneducated and poverty and fatalism often breed insenstivity .Keep this in mind and enjoy ur stay.
Look Amba u r not coming 2 India as a casual visitor but to find ur cultural and religious roots.At least I think so.India is going to test u and challenge you. So come prepared.
